Florette with number 30/30 is one of the classics of Ruth Treffeisen's doll art. Her gentle look with her gray crystal glass eyes, her slightly open mouth showing parts of her teeth and toungue and her little snub nose are real eye-catchers. Her almost black wig, handknotted of human hair, underlines her expression. She has earrings with pearls and garnets and a mauve colored felt hat garnished with a taffeta rose. Her dress is made from pure silk doupion et organza trimmed with a black satin ribbon. She has special joints in ellbows and hips and can stand and sit. Her body is stuffed with sheep's wool and thanks to a ball-and-socket joint her head can be turned in all directions. Florette is a porcelain doll, 66 cm/25.98 in tall, limited to 30 pieces worldwide, certified, and handsignd. The doll had been presented in Ruth Treffeisen's studio for the first time in 1995.
